SUB ZONE 2.3.3 Absolute & Women 2025

The Confederación de Ajedrez de América (CCA) and the Trinidad & Tobago Chess Association (TTCA), as the Organizers, are pleased to extend an invitation to the 2025 Subzonal 2.3.3 Absolute & Women’s Chess Championships.

This prestigious event is open to players representing national chess federations from the following countries: Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Netherlands Antilles, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad & Tobago, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Participation is contingent upon the federations being in good financial standing with the CCA, as outlined in the CCA Statutes and Financial Regulations.

All player registrations must be submitted in writing by their respective federations to the TTCA.
All participants to have a FIDE ID from their National Federation
A digital passport photo is required for each registrant. The photo must be taken against a white background with the full face clearly visible.
The Absolute Tournament and the Women’s Tournament are separate events taking place simultaneously.
Each federation is entitled to register one official player for the Women’s Tournament and one official player for the Absolute Tournament.

March 10th, 2025 – Federation to confirm participation
March 27th, 2025 – Final registration form, some flight details could be missing.
March 28th, 2025 – Full registration fee and credentials (160 USD) plus a deposit equal to 30% of the total cost for hotel accommodation
April 1st, 2025  – Final registration form with full flight details included.
