Olympiad medalist, NM Ravishen Singh defeated the Top Seed, FM William Puntier in round 2 of the Subzonal 2.3.5. Ravi played comfortably using his time well, while Puntier showed the pressure he was under by using up the clock. The game lasted 41 moves.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile Trinidad star, CM Allan Munro took 90 moves in an nail-biting \u00a0Sicilian defense to defeat International Master Gascon Del Nogal. The game was the last to finish. Just before they finished however, Daryl Davis pulled out a victory against Jamaican FM, Shane Matthews. Davis seems to be finding back the form which he had 2 years ago.<\/p>\n
