The National Chess Championships 2015 came to an end on\u00a0Sunday 1st November, 2015.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
It is with pleasure that I now report on the final results.<\/div>\n

Absolute<\/b><\/div>\n

T&T has a new National Absolute Champion!\u00a0CM Kevin Cupid<\/b>.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Kevin definitely left his mark on this year’s tournament where he won 8 games, drew two and lost one to end on 9 points.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He was followed by FM Joshua Johnson on 8 points and CM Adrian Winter\u00a0Atwell\u00a0on 6.5 points.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
It is worthwhile to mention that NM Anderson Gordon and FM Mario Merritt also attained 6.5 points and came in 4th and 5th respectively.<\/div>\n

Once again\u00a0WCM\u00a0Aditi\u00a0Soondasingh\u00a0demonstrated her dominance in the sport, by capturing her 9th National Women’s title. She played unbeaten and ended on 8 points with 7 wins and 2 draws.<\/div>\n
