The tournament will be FIDE Rated<\/strong>.

Time Control: <\/strong>15 mins plus 0-sec increment<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Default time is 15 minutes for each round<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


Pairings will be shown on Chess-Results.
The tournament will be played as a seven (7) round Swiss tournament,

Players defaulting 2 games will be withdrawn from the tournament.
Prizes for the top 6 places for each category groups Under 12, Under 16 and Under 20

Schedule may change per age group category based on number of players entered in the age group and whether a Swiss or Round Robin pairing format is used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Tie Breaks:<\/strong> TBD<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flash photography may only be taken in the first 5 minutes of each round unless specified otherwise by the Chief Arbiter. Only the players, media and arbiters shall be allowed access to the playing area unless specified otherwise by the Chief Arbiter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As long as a game is in progress, a player may talk only to an Arbiter or to his opponent as permitted by the laws of Chess<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Appeals procedure:<\/strong> Any protest against the Chief Arbiter decisions must be submitted in writing to the chair of the Appeals Committee within 10 minutes after the completion of the playing session. The protest must be lodged by the player and it has to be accompanied by a sum of $60 as a deposit from the signatory. If the appeal is refused, the deposit will be forfeited.
