The TTCA presents the National Individual Secondary School Tournament. The top 4 players from each school will contribute points for the overall challenge trophy. The school with the most point will be crowned National Secondary School Chess Champion 2023

Details are as follows:
Date: Saturday October 7th<\/sup> 2023
Venue: Presentation College, Chaguanas<\/a>
Time Control: 10 min + 5 sec
Rounds: 9 Rounds
Registration Fee: $60.00 before 7th October, 2023 otherwise the fee increases to $100.00
Start Time: 9:00 am

The tournament will be FIDE Rated<\/strong>
Registration deadline will be on Wednesday 4th October at 11:59 PM<\/strong>

Prizes: <\/strong>
The top three male and female players of the competition will receive a trophy. The school, that accumulates the most points, wins a challenge trophy for their school.
The organiser holds the option to award special prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n



Point System:<\/strong>
The points attained at the end of the tournament by each child in the top 4 positions for each school will be added to determine the final tally for the National Secondary School Championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
