TTCA in collaboration with Southern Chess Club<\/a> presents the International Women’s Day Online Rapid Tournament

Details are as follows:
The tournament is open to females of Trinidad and Tobago<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Date: March 6th, 2021, 3 PM (-4 GMT) (Trinidad time)
Platform: Tornelo<\/a>
Registration Fee: $50.00

Registration will be taken online up to 5th March, 2021 and NOT on the day of the tournament.

Prizes<\/strong>
1st $800 + Mrs. Lorraine Winchester-Hall  Challenge Trophy
2nd $500
3rd $300<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special prize<\/strong>: Trophy for best Under 14 Female.

Prizes will be distributed during the National Youth and Junior Prizegiving ceremony on March 21, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tournament will NOT<\/strong> be FIDE Rated. Time allotment per player is <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time: 10 mins plus 3 secs increment
Number of rounds: 6
Players must be present before the start of Round 1 to be paired.
The players are registered by their FIDE rapid rating. In case they don\u2019t have a Rapid rating then the FIDE Classic or Blitz rating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Players will be required to have their videos on so that arbiters can see them. Additionally, they may be required to share their screens via a link that will be provided in Tornelo. Players are NOT<\/strong> allowed to use virtual backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By registering for the tournament, all participants confirm to have read and accepted these regulations the terms and conditions of this tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
