The top two players male and female shall be eligible to participate in the CCA qualification Hybrid event on January 21-22, 2023 for the CAC Games to be held in El Salvador in 2023. The registration for the 2 male and 2 female players with the organisers is on 4 January 2023.

Time Control: 15 mins plus 10-sec increment
Default time is 10 minutes for each round

The tournament will be played as a seven (7) round Swiss tournament,

Flash photography may only be taken in the first 5 minutes of each round unless specified otherwise by the Chief Arbiter. Only the players, media and arbiters shall be allowed access to the playing area unless specified otherwise by the Chief Arbiter.
As long as a game is in progress, a player may talk only to an Arbiter or to his opponent as permitted by the laws of Chess
Appeals procedure: Any protest against the Chief Arbiter decisions must be submitted in writing to the chair of the Appeals Committee within 10 minutes after the completion of the playing session. The protest must be lodged by the player and it has to be accompanied by a sum of $100 as a deposit from the signatory. If the appeal is refused, the deposit will be forfeited. The Appeal Committee’s decisions are final.
